We keep this short and honest. This policy explains what data Catch The Lob collects, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Email address— if you subscribe to our newsletter (The Daily Lob).
  • Payment info— processed by Stripe via Whop. We never see or store your card number. We see only that a purchase was made and which tier.
  • Telegram ID— required to add you to the premium group after payment. Linked to your Whop account, not your real identity.
  • Standard web logs— IP address, browser, referrer, pages visited (via Vercel analytics and basic server logs).

What we do with it

  • Send you the picks and content you signed up for.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Diagnose site issues and improve performance.
  • Aggregate, anonymized analytics (e.g. “X% of subscribers opened the Friday issue”).

What we never do

  • Sell your email address or any personal data.
  • Share email lists with third-party advertisers.
  • Spam you. The only emails we send are: the newsletter you subscribed to (daily), occasional product announcements (rare), and transactional emails (subscription receipts, password changes).

Third parties we use

  • Beehiiv— newsletter delivery. Stores your email and engagement data.
  • Whop— subscription management, identity verification, Telegram access provisioning.
  • Stripe— payment processing.
  • Vercel— web hosting and CDN.
  • Telegram— messaging. Subject to Telegram's own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. You can request deletion of your data by replying to the newsletter or contacting us via Telegram. We honor GDPR and CCPA requests where applicable.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies — just what's needed for authentication and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children

This service is for users 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.
